I’ll never forget my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was just eight years old. I have fond memories of riding Pirates of the Caribbean for the very first time. Setting sail on an impossible journey that catapulted me back in time to a swashbuckling world of pirates, danger, and whimsy.
At night, I was blown away by the dazzling lights of the Mainstreet Electrical Parade. It was like nothing I had ever experienced before! My first Disneyland memory was when I was just 17. I remember the anticipation of riding Splash Mountain. It had just opened up in the park and we waited a full five hours to take the plunge. Totally worth it.
The scale and attention to detail that Disney brings to life were forever imprinted on my memory since I was just a child. But no matter what your age, experiencing Disney for the first time or the 50th time brings with it new moments of awe and wonder at the sheer possibilities of what they’re going to imagine next.
Since that moment I’ve returned to the parks many more times throughout the years. I’ve visited both Disney World and Disneyland over 100 times, and expect to visit many more! I’ve stayed at every Walt Disney World resort and eaten at almost every restaurant. My expertise extends to both the Walt Disney World and Disneyland parks.
As a married man and father to my 10-year-old son, I see the magic of Disney through an even more fulfilling lens. I continue to share these unforgettable memories with loved ones. And relive those unforgettable moments from so many years ago through my son’s eyes.
